The Healing Center

I loved the visit this morning to The Healing Center. I was extremely impressed by the facility in terms of the programs offered, the organization, and the building itself. They do an enormous amount of work for the community in this center. With services ranging from distributing food and clothing, offering resume writing & job training services, and spiritual support. What most surprised me about the Healing Center was the modernity and great thought that went into the design of the building. Walking in you can really tell how much work went into designing the perfect space for exactly the needs they need to fill daily. I was also shocked by the fact that they are able to serve 1000-2500 people in a month.
