An interesting talk by Jacqueline Rioja Velarde. I had several questions that I was wondering about.
Why has the female Latina population grown so much over the past ten years. Why is the median age of Latina women so low? The words Hispanic and LAtino seem to be interchangeable. Is that true? A lot of what she said surprised me such as Latinas having 6 times the national average owning their own business. She was very impressive and very forthcoming with her experiences.
Good question regarding the low age median. How offensive is it to call someone Latino or Hispanic versus identifying them by their home country?
