Immigration Policies

Immigration issues are genereally very complex and I do not know whether the presention cleared the doubts or made it more confusing. However, the presentation cleared so many nuances and gave me a better understanding of the new Immigration Bill. As an immigrant and haven interacted with so many of these topics, I gained a different perspective on many of the issues. I was particully interested in the "Dream Act" because my students want to know if they can benefit from it, at the same time there is the fear of exposure. Another aspect of the presentation that I come across a lot is people getting Green Cards at different times even if they applied ealier than others. It was also interesting to understand the diferent processing times and the changes that will be effect as a result of the new immigration bill.
